Council on College Admission in South Dakota |
Welcome to Council on College Admission in South Dakota The Council on College Admissions in South Dakota is an association of professionals serving students and their families as they explore postsecondary educational options and make choices. Our membership is comprised of College Admission Counselors, High School Counselors, Financial Aid Officers, independent college consultants, and others involved in non-profit organizations and businesses that support students entering postsecondary education. Students in South Dakota have numerous opportunities for seeking their chosen career path upon graduation from high school. Beginning their walk down that path starts with advanced training that can begin at a Technical College, a University, a specialty school like cosmetology and possibly, in combination with serving in one of the branches of our military. Junior and Senior years for high school students can be overwhelming because of this wide range of options. CCASD members are committed to academic and career decision-making activities throughout the state to help students chart their path in a step-by-step process.
