The CCASD Admission Counselor Training Institute is back again in 2024, and we are planning for it to be our best training yet. Whether you are new to college admissions, or you need a rejuvenation & refresher, this years event is for you. It is designed for Admission Counselors who have recently entered the profession. However, we would like to invite those with more experience to attend as well, to share your invaluable expertise and to provide a refresher and energizer for the upcoming year! Basically everyone is invited, new admissions, seasoned veterans in admissions, in-state colleges, out of state colleges, etc. We would love to have all of you join us.
Participants will find the Institute complements admission office trainings and provides valuable networking throughout the two days. We invite Admission Counselors, Directors, and School Counselors not attending the institute, to be our guest for the social hour at 4:30 pm on August 6th.
Cost to Attend
CCASD Counselor Training Institute Fee: $90.00/person
Includes materials , lunch on day 1 & social hour with beverage and appetizers.
Social Hour Only: no fee but registration is required
Registration deadline for Training or Social Hour is July 30th.

- A block of rooms is reserved under the SD Council on College Admissions (CCASD BLOCK) (deadline is July 6 to reserve. Limited availability after the 6th )
- Notify the Best Western Ramkota when reserving room if it will be tax exempt.
- SD State Rate - plus tax,. on all hotel rooms.
